Marketing Communications Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for managing the company’s marketing initiatives and communications across the full Hadley group product range and geographical territories.  To oversee the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns as well as supporting future exhibitions. Demonstrating an expertise in all aspects of digital marketing with the ability both create and coordinate work packages through subcontractors.  Working closely with content generation teams to support relevant publication to marketing communications.

 

THE ROLE

 

Digital:

  • Accountable for developing the digital marketing capabilities and supporting the business units in creation of penetrating marketing.
  • Lead the development of Hadley Group’s marketing communications with emphasis on developing a best in class digital platform for all business unit activities, ensuring the customer needs are at the heart of all online activity.
  • Day to day management of all company website’s, working closely with our content management teams to deliver high quality digital campaigns. Grow Hadley digital presence, ensuring our content plan is scheduled and published in conjunction with the content management teams.
  • Own and manage the digital marketing platform interaction with in house systems such as MS Dynamics CRM so as to benefit the commercial strategies of the individual business units.
  • Planning and monitoring the ongoing business units on social media.
  • Develop and manage an effective SEO plan aimed at growing Hadley Group brand presence in markets and geographies served. Utilising excellent SEO management with strong experience in CMS systems to ensure that Hadley Group Website supports Brand and business unit objectives.

 

Content Creation Support

  • Create a best in class platform for the release of marketing information as provided by the content generation teams within the business units. In creating this ensure that brand guidelines are managed even through individual social media posts.
  • Management of all content and media to ensure relevance to market and copyright compliance.
  • Developing strong internal and external relationships from the CEO and Exec team to product teams, sales teams and marketing teams.
  • Manage a partners of internal resources to required time frames when producing strategic content pieces that will form the backbone of campaigns.

 

CRM Engagement

  • Ensure campaigns and marcomms leads data is managed through Microsoft dynamics CRM and GDPR compliant.
  • Develop the email outbound marketing process with a focus on both social media platforms and opt in email marketing using compliant contact lists.

 

Brand Management:

  • Responsible for the compliance of all external messaging to the relevant brand guidelines as set in partnership between the Group Board and the business units.
  • Report on an annual basis the development of the brand identifying the specifics achieved and the tangible benefits as result.

 

Activity Management:

  • Provide creative ideas for the content marketing and update website measuring performance of marketing activity through analytic tools.
  • Lead the internal communications strategy and tactical execution (events, newsletters).

 

Budget and Subcontractor Management

  • Manage the marketing communications budget for the Group with breakdown into the relevant business units. Report on a quarterly basis the performance of the function and relative position to budgetary costs.
  • Actively manage all subcontractors / suppliers of marketing communication services / products to ensure best in value provision. Utilise personal expertise to validate spends made and where relevant work with central procurement to create RFI & RFQ for contracted works.

 

Performance

  • Track all marketing and sales data and creates detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to senior executives

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Some travel required in and out of UK to other Hadley sites.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Qualification(s)

  • Marketing, Business degree or similar qualification.
  • Experience of developing company websites
  • Experience of the full range of marketing disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years hands of B2B marketing communication experience with emphasis on digital platforms.

 

CORE COMPETENCIES

Core competencies – Technical

  • IT skills including a knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of Craft CMS would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Click dimensions would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Microsoft dynamics CRM would be advantageous

Core competencies – Job Related

  • Marketing tech savy, with high awareness of latest digital trends, social media platforms and relevant marketing techniques.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Good knowledge of modern marketing techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
